SureCall’s Horizon™ 5G mmWave network signal booster extends the reach of base stations to overcome obstructions, and easily fills 5G coverage gaps without the need for fiber backhaul. A hybrid approach of using both Horizon network signal boosters, often referred to as repeaters, and 5G base stations helps telecoms expand their network coverage and deliver next-generation speeds at a fraction of the cost of deploying base stations only.

One of the biggest challenges for 5G mmWave Ultra Wideband networks is providing sufficient coverage, mainly due to natural and man-made obstructions that block the signal between the base station and a user’s device. SureCall’s Horizon is designed to deploy quickly and economically to significantly expand the coverage area of a single base station.

RECORD SPEED TESTS ACHIEVED
At a total distance of 200 meters from the cell tower, and in an area where there was no Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband® signal without the network signal booster, SureCall’s Horizon(TM) delivered nearly 3 GB of data speed. Man-made obstructions prevented the 5G base station from reaching the area where the testing was completed, and the Horizon helped overcome those obstacles.

SureCall is working with Verizon to build out 5G Ultra Wideband coverage in the USA, but also can be built to support carriers worldwide with their mmWave network. Horizon is customizable for global carriers and ensures the integrity of the 5G mmWave network.
AFFORDABILITY & COST SAVINGS
Reduce deployment cost by utilizing SureCall Horizon boosters in relay. Multiple repeaters can be mounted around a 5G base station to greatly extend the coverage footprint. Horizon is also much smaller and lighter than traditional 5G network equipment, and consumes much less power, which makes solar a viable option.
